Education has always been the cornerstone of freedom and opportunity — and in Atlanta, that truth remains at the heart of the NAACP’s mission. The ATL NAACP Branch continues to lead efforts to ensure equitable access to high-quality education for all students, regardless of zip code or income.
Through advocacy, partnerships, and parent engagement, we’re addressing systemic issues such as resource inequity, school funding disparities, and racial bias in disciplinary practices. Our Education Committee is working closely with Atlanta Public Schools, community organizations, and families to expand access to STEM programs, literacy initiatives, and mentorship for youth.
