Dear NAACP Youth & College Leaders, Alumni, and Supporters,
This year marks a historic milestone, 90 years of the NAACP Youth & College Division. For nearly a century, young people across the country have organized, mobilized, and led the charge for justice through the NAACP. From sit-ins and freedom rides to today’s advocacy for education equity, public safety, and civic engagement, Youth and College leaders have always been at the forefront of change.
To commemorate this moment, we invite you to join us for a special virtual celebration:
- 90 Minutes of Power: Celebrating 90 Years of the NAACP Youth and College Division
- Monday, March 9 | 7 PM ET
- Special Guest: Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant, Former Youth and College Director
This event will bring together leaders, members, alumni, and supporters from across the country for a dynamic conversation about the legacy and future of youth leadership within the NAACP.
Register now for the Zoom meeting. Learn more about the anniversary celebration on our landing page.
We also encourage units and members to participate in the celebration throughout the year using our 90th Anniversary Toolkit, which includes social media graphics, messaging, and ways to engage your campus and community.
In community,
Tylik M. McMillan
National Director of Youth and College, NAACP
