Alexus Means
Youth Advocate and NAACP Leader Advancing Education, Equity, and Civic Leadership
Alexus is a lifelong advocate and youth leader. She began her leadership journey in elementary and middle school, serving as SGA President and later becoming President of the ATL NAACP Branch Youth Council at just 13. Throughout high school, she deepened her commitment to education through the IB and dual enrollment programs, while being elected the 2nd Vice President of the Georgia NAACP Youth & College Division and serving as the State Youth Ambassador for the National Women’s Political Caucus.
She has received several awards, including the Academic Scholar Cup, the Oratory Award, and the Rising Star Award, and she was recognized and honored by the National Center for Civil and Human Rights for her leadership in civil rights. She is currently an honor student continuing her education.
Today, Alexus serves as the Youth Works Chair for the ATL NAACP Branch, dedicated to developing and empowering future leaders and strengthening the community.
